Origin

Origin Story

Dr. Paul Kim (Founder) was deeply affected by the harsh educational conditions he witnessed while visiting underserved communities around the world. As an education technology expert, he was convinced that mobile devices could serve as simple, flexible solutions that work even in extreme environments.

μ‹€λ¦¬μ½˜λ°Έλ¦¬μ—μ„œ Neha Taleja (Co-founder), whose passion was shaped by growing up in India and experiencing educational challenges firsthand β€” together, with the vision to "reach the unreachable, educate, and empower," Seeds of Empowerment was born.

In 2009, SoE began its catalytic role in providing mobile learning to underserved communities worldwide, leveraging Stanford University's educational research and innovative mobile technology.
